Who We Are
Journey Health + Wellness is where our family’s path to healing becomes a shared journey with our community. We started this center out of a personal need when traditional medical approaches couldn’t fully address our health issues, including Lyme disease, skin cancer, and chronic fatigue. Our turning point came with the guidance we received at the Envita Clinic in Scottsdale, where we learned the significance of detoxification and making healthier choices in what we eat and use daily.
Motivated by our own improvements, we deepened our understanding of natural health practices. We explored detox techniques, digestive enzyme therapies, and other holistic health methods. This led us to open Journey Health + Wellness, aiming to offer these beneficial therapies to others.
Our center provides a variety of treatments like digestive enzyme testing, colon cleansing, Electro-Equiscope microcurrent treatments, and infrared saunas. But it’s not just about the treatments; we emphasize educating on nutrition, lifestyle adaptations, and cutting down toxin exposure. This holistic method is designed to address health issues from the ground up, helping reduce inflammation, accelerate healing, and support overall well-being.
We’re excited to offer what we’ve learned and experienced to help others. At Journey Health + Wellness, we’re committed to being a part of your health journey, sharing insights and treatments that can make a real difference.
Our Vision With Journey
Our vision at Journey Health + Wellness is to cultivate a vibrant, health-conscious community where holistic well-being is a way of life, not just a treatment option. We see a future where individuals and families are empowered with knowledge and resources to take charge of their health, exploring natural and integrative healing methods alongside traditional medical approaches.
In this vision, we are more than a wellness center; we are a hub of education, support, and innovation in health care. We imagine our space buzzing with workshops on nutrition, toxin-free living, and stress management, alongside personalized treatments like enzyme therapies and detoxification programs. Our goal is to create an environment where each person’s journey to health is respected and supported, fostering a culture of wellness that extends beyond our doors into the wider community.
Through collaboration, education, and a relentless pursuit of healthful living, we strive to be a beacon of hope and transformation, inspiring positive change in how we approach and achieve holistic health.
Our Team
- Kristie Geitner -
Kristie is co-owner of Journey Health and Wellness with her daughter Jessie Kennell. Kristie’s journey started when she was diagnosed with skin cancer at a young age. Researching the reasons “why” led her to understand the importance of gut health, clean water, and eliminatingtoxins. Kristie’s son was then diagnosed with Lyme disease and mold toxicity, which led the Geitner family to the Envita clinic in Arizona where her research and self-education came full circle. Kristie wanted her son’s detoxification therapies suggested by Evita to be available at one location, thus Journey Health and Wellness was created in Greenwood, Indiana.
Kristie grew up in the Southside of Indianapolis and has a passion for health, education, and adding value to her community. She loves hanging by the pool with her husband, family, and friends. She loves walking and cuddling with her dogs. Kristie’s favorite motto is: “Work Hard; Dream Big; Give Back”.

- Jessie Kennell -
Jessie is a co-founder of Journey Health + Wellness alongside her mother Kristie Geitner. Jessie became interested in natural health when she discovered she had a version of the MTHFR gene. She struggled with hormone health beginning in her teen years through her late 20s. Symptoms such as brain fog, memory loss, acne, ovarian cysts, cramps, bloating, hair loss, and PMS were prevalent in her life and even considered normal. After medications and birth control failed to ease her discomfort, she did her own research, received genetic testing, and discovered that her symptoms were caused by her body’ s inability to detox properly and absorb nutrients.
Since focusing on proper nutrition and routine detoxification protocols and therapies, her body and mind have been able to heal, and her symptoms have been relieved. She and her mom are a dedicated team on a mission to educate individuals on taking ownership of their health and ensuring that they do not have to settle for a life of pain and discomfort.
Jessie and her husband reside in Bargersville and are excited to be a part of the fast-growing community. They are proud puppy parents to their dog, Gigi, and have hopes to grow their family in the upcoming years.
